Cleaning rotas run on the clock rather than on need, which means some washrooms are serviced when they are fine and others are left long after they are not. The GS301 replaces guesswork with a measurement.

Solid polymer electrochemical cells detect NH₃ across 0 to 10 ppm and H₂S across 0 to 5 ppm, resolving to 0.01 and 0.001 ppm respectively, with accuracy within 5% of full scale and drift held under 1% per month. Between them, these two compounds account for the bulk of what people notice in a public convenience, one from urine and the other from drainage and traps. Ambient temperature and relative humidity are captured alongside, to within 0.2°C and 2%.

Set your own limits and the unit responds the moment they are crossed. A three-colour status light gives cleaners and the public an at-a-glance verdict, an internal buzzer draws attention, and an uplink goes to the network at the same time.

Milesight D2D turns the reading into an action. The detector can instruct an extract fan or HVAC controller directly, in under a second, with no gateway involved in the loop and no cloud round trip, while standard LoRaWAN reporting carries on as normal. Ventilation then runs on demand instead of continuously, which trims energy use as well as complaints.

Four replaceable 4,000 mAh ER18505 cells give roughly three years at ten-minute intervals, matching the working life of the gas sensors themselves. The flame-retardant white housing measures 120 by 85 by 32.5 mm, carries a damp-proof coating for humid conditions, and fixes to the wall with screws. Setup is handled entirely through the ToolBox app over NFC, and data reaches Milesight IoT Cloud for dashboards, reports and alerts.
