Milesight WS501 Smart Wall Switch

The Milesight WS501 Smart LoRaWAN® Wall Switch brings intelligent control and energy monitoring to lighting and electrical appliances across commercial and smart building environments.

Using LoRaWAN® connectivity, the WS501 allows connected equipment to be controlled locally from the switch or remotely through a compatible IoT network. Scheduled switching can automate when equipment operates, helping facilities teams reduce unnecessary energy consumption and manage building systems more efficiently.

Built-in energy monitoring measures voltage, current, active power, power factor and overall electricity consumption. The switch also features overcurrent protection, providing an additional level of protection for connected equipment.

Support for Milesight D2D communication enables compatible Milesight devices to interact directly with the switch with very low latency, allowing actions such as lighting control to take place without routing every command through a gateway.

NFC configuration makes setup straightforward, while multicast functionality allows groups of switches to be controlled together. The WS501 provides a versatile solution for offices, hotels, public buildings and other connected facilities.
