




X1 Sensing Camera
Plenty of working plant will never be replaced simply because it lacks a digital output. Instead of swapping out a functioning gauge, the X1 photographs it and lets software do the reading, which turns a clipboard round into an automated one without touching the asset itself.
Two lens options suit the space available. The 1020 lens covers a 77 degree field from 10 to 20 cm away, while the 0510 super close lens opens to 120 degrees at 5 to 10 cm for tight enclosures. Several instruments can sit in a single frame, so one device often covers a whole panel rather than one dial apiece. Capture runs at a set interval, at scheduled times, on a signal through the alarm input, or on a press of the external button when an engineer wants a record on the spot. Forty JPEGs are buffered onboard if the connection drops, and images publish over MQTT to the Milesight AIoT Sensing Platform or to a third party system via HTTP, open APIs or CGI. Milesight will also train a recognition model against your own scenario and sample data where the standard algorithms do not fit.
Choosing between the versions comes down to the building. The SC541 uses ordinary 802.11 b/g/n on 2.4 GHz with an internal antenna, joining the network already in place, and runs around two years on two AA cells. The SC541-HL transmits on 863.5 to 867.5 MHz instead, where the longer wavelength passes through concrete and steelwork that stops conventional Wi-Fi, and lasts up to three years on the supplied lithium cells. It uses an external SMB antenna and pairs with an HL31 gateway, which is a required part of that deployment rather than an option, since its 2.4 GHz radio handles commissioning only.
Both share a 62 mm square housing weighing well under 100 grams, a Type-C power input as an alternative to batteries, and a standard 1/4-20 UNC camera thread for mounting. Rated IP30 across 0 to 50°C, they are indoor devices.
